Job Summary

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tram System Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and monitor all systems in our automated people mover system, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

This role will follow standard operating procedures, policies, and regulations in conducting inspections for all systems, milling minor repairs to trains in the shop, and collaborating with junior-level technicians on larger repairs.

The Tram System Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for monitoring the tram system and promptly addressing any alarm indicators.

This is a full-time, hourly overnight position hiring at $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on relevant experience and certifications.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Previous technical experience in one or all of the following areas (PLC's, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems)
  • Previous experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Ability to work in adverse environmental conditions such as extreme heat, wind, or confined spaces
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen of the United States of America
  • Proficient in the English language
Desired Qualifications

At least 1 year of transit system maintenance and repair experience is preferred.
