Job Summary:

The Nutrition Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of meals, maintaining a clean and safe food service environment, and ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, including meal planning, ingredient procurement, and food portioning.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of meals to residents, taking into account special diets and preferences.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and implement menu changes, specials, and events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, upholding the values of Independence Village.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the community.
