Part-Time Dining Server

About the Position

Feastca is seeking enthusiastic part-time servers to join our team. As a server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking and delivering orders while embodying the values and brand of our establishment. We value a friendly demeanor and quick thinking, as you will be the first point of contact for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Greet and assist customers as they arrive.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the menu, including key ingredients and dish descriptions, to provide informed recommendations.
  3. Address any inquiries regarding dietary restrictions or food preparation methods.
  4. Accurately take and serve customer orders.
  5. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and precise order delivery.
  6. Maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and ensuring the dining area is tidy and inviting.
  7. Participate in dish preparation for signature offerings.
  8. Set up and rearrange dining spaces for larger groups and special events.
  9. Ensure compliance with health regulations by cleaning kitchen areas and utensils post-service.
  10. Keep service stations well-stocked and organized.
  11. Handle customer concerns with a positive and proactive approach.
  12. Perform light cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Asian cuisine is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to engage in deep cleaning tasks.

Compensation

Hourly wage of $13 plus tips, with estimated tips ranging from $12 to $90+ per shift.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 6 hours long, with business hours from 10 AM to 10 PM, operating seven days a week.
