About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including fuel delivery and tire changes.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field.
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
  • Valid medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends.
