Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Addictions Counselor to join our team at ACCA. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will provide clinical counseling services to clients in recovery, utilizing your expertise in addiction treatment and counseling.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Promote ACCA's services and obtain referrals from community partners and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records, adhering to agency policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in all assigned meetings and committees, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the outpatient clinic.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as counseling or psychology.
  • Valid licensure or certification in a relevant field, such as LPC or LAC.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in addiction counseling or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, including CBT and motivational interviewing.
