We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at SB Clinical Practice Management. This individual will be responsible for performing MRI radiological exams, selecting proper technical factors, and operating equipment as directed.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all interactions with patients, staff, and medical providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI Radiological exams at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
- Selects and operates equipment as directed.
- Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- Processes films.
- Performs QA to images and facilitate in the delivery of the images and exams to the file room and PAC's system for dictation.
- Assist physician in the administration of opaque media.
- Practice sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination.
- Responsible for delegating areas of authority in the performance of routine or special procedures.
- May be responsible for specific areas of instruction in the school of technology and ancillary personnel.
- In the absence of a supervisor or senior technologist, he/she may be designated as acting supervisor.
