About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated travel healthcare professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) of a leading hospital in Burlington, Vermont.
Job Overview:
This is a 16-week contract with 36 hours per week, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an RN in the ED, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A valid nursing license in good standing
- At least 1 year of experience in emergency department settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
