Provide student support and tutoring services to students with questions in mathematics and/or statistics for the Center for Assistance with Statistics and Mathematics (CASM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Address student questions regarding their math/stat courses.
  • Follow and enforce CASM policy and procedure.
  • Have excellent time management skills.
  • Be an excellent and flexible communicator via email and in-person.
  • Attend regular tutor content trainings and CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) trainings unless certified.
Requirements
  • Must be a currently enrolled UW student.
  • Education: Some college with a focus on mathematics and/or statistics.
  • Experience: Some college math/stat and/or tutoring experience.
