About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Imaging Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing CT/XRAY procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment by daily quality assurance and set up and adjust equipment per protocol, radiologist, and/or procedure performance.
  • Accept patients and assess their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements, explaining and preparing the patient for the exam requested.
  • Assist in the administration and administer various chemical substances in order to render specific organs or systems more opaque.
  • Review patient charts and requests with the radiologist to ensure the proper examination and diagnostic results are obtained.
Requirements
  • Formal training in radiology technology of AMA-approved program upon hire.
  • Minimum of one year Radiologic experience upon hire.
  • Current FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS required upon hire, then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols.
