Healthcare Support Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Clackamas County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical procedures by taking vital signs, recording health information, and setting up exam rooms.
- Assist medical staff with routine tasks, such as laboratory procedures, inventory control, and data entry.
- Provide administrative support, including front office reception, registration, and processing referrals.
- Update and maintain patient information and files in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Administer immunizations, injections, and medications under physician supervision.
- Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant by a nationally recognized program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and a criminal history check.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience in primary family care and/or pediatric care clinic.
This position works 40 hours during a standard workweek of Monday through Friday. The CMA will be scheduled 8AM-5PM four days of the week and will be scheduled 10AM-7PM one day of the week.
