Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Assembler to join our team at ITW. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling machines, equipment, and subassemblies following assembly drawings, written documentation, and verbal specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret drawings and specifications to plan and complete mechanical assemblies
- Follow generally accepted guidelines and wiring diagrams to route and connect wires for electrical systems
- Utilize hand and power tools during the assembly process
- Assemble components using a variety of fasteners
- Bend, route, and install flexible or rigid tubing for pneumatic systems following schematic drawings
- Measure components for inspection and fit
- Apply problem-solving and basic math skills as required
- Test or assist in testing the operation of completed products
- Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills
- Good organization, planning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate well with others within a team setting and to interface with other departments
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or a minimum of one year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
