Job Summary:

Peco Foods is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and Control: Demonstrate control of assigned department, monitor in-process product, conduct environmental evaluations, and make real-time determinations for food safety and quality.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct pre-operational inspections, lock out/tag out with verification, and efficiently communicate with support teams (Sanitation, Maintenance, and Production).
  • Quality Tools and Equipment: Effectively navigate the usage of quality tools and equipment, including scales, calipers, thermometers, Sightline, and Infinity.
  • Production Flow: Demonstrate a strong understanding of production flow, including production codes, size limits, and label attributes.
  • Suspicious Situations: Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to your immediate supervisor or plant management official, such as product tampering, unauthorized employees in restricted areas, and equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Follow the written specification for packaging and labeling of products.

Requirements:
