Job Summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a skilled Registered Vascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients with peripheral arterial, venous, carotid artery, and renal artery disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and record results of ultrasound evaluations, evaluating results and writing preliminary reports.
  • Schedule exams to coordinate with other patient examinations and/or other departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of examination data and other pertinent information on patients.
  • Ensure orderliness and cleanliness in work areas, positioning and transferring patients properly and comfortably.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in hospital educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, workshops, department meetings, and local chapter meetings.
  • Operate equipment as directed according to policy and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrate competency in the assessment, range of treatment, and knowledge of growth and development appropriate to age of the patient treated.
  • Assist in gathering and recording data as required for the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Labs and the Clinical Vascular Lab and Hospital Quality Improvement Process.
Requirements
  • Registry by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Experience in ultrasound technology.
