Job Summary:The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients in an inpatient setting. This includes conducting initial and ongoing assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to a broad range of patients and illnesses in an inpatient/hospital setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in diagnosis and treatment of conditions requiring medical intervention
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality indicators and outcomes dashboards
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing (for Advanced Practice Nurse) or Bachelor's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies (for Physician Assistant)
- Wisconsin RN License (for Advanced Practice Nurse) or Wisconsin Physician Assistant License (for Physician Assistant)
- Current certification by NCCPA (for Physician Assistant)
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License (for Advanced Practice Nurse)
- AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, and DEA certification
- Experience in inpatient and hospitalist medicine
- Acute care experience preferred
