Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at McIntosh Clinic, PC. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in clinical care and a passion for working with patients with pulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams to identify normal and abnormal findings.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.
- Develop and implement pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid RN and ARNP license (for Nurse Practitioner) or valid license (for Physician Assistant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an interactive clinical care setting.

This position requires a combination of office, exam room, and classroom settings. The successful candidate will be exposed to communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinic setting.
Mental/Physical Requirements:This position requires varied activities, including sitting, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. The successful candidate must be able to stand for two to four hours during educational sessions and occasionally carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
