Job Summary

Marriott International Inc is a leading hospitality company that operates over 100 award-winning properties worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate to join our team in Half Moon Bay, California.

As a Financial Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. You will also be responsible for organizing, securing, and maintaining all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be responsible for recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. You will maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data, classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, and prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.

Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
