Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a patient-centric role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
- Prefer good computer skills.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
- Prefer PTCB certification.
