Job Overview

The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the efficient management of shipping and receiving operations. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.


COMPENSATION DETAILS

Hourly Rate: $20.00

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Benefits Commence Immediately

Paid Time Off: 80 Hours Annually

Weekly Compensation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Logistics Coordinator is tasked with various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Operating and maintaining a forklift (Training and certification provided)
  • Pulling, staging, and loading customer orders from the warehouse
  • Ensuring timely preparation of products for delivery
  • Utilizing computer systems to manage orders and reports, including Excel and ERP software
  • Organizing products and pallets in accordance with established standards
  • Prioritizing daily tasks effectively
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating clearly with team members and clients
  • Overseeing the organization of finished goods and installation supplies
  • Conducting general maintenance and cleanliness of the workspace
  • Handling product lifting and repackaging as necessary
  • Adhering to strict deadlines
  • Committing to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Practicing safety protocols daily and participating in regular safety training
  • Identifying and mitigating unsafe conditions
  • Cross-training in various roles to support the overall team
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience preferred
  • Familiarity with forklift maintenance programs is advantageous
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Proficiency in reading orders and picking tickets
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Physical capability to reach, sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
