We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Dentist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental diseases and health problems.
- Diagnose malocclusions, pathological or irregular conditions, and ensure proper referral for evaluation or specialty care.
- Provide dental disease prevention measures for each patient treated.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families with multiple dental and health problems and diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Ability to distinguish shades of color.
- Completed a 2-year residency program in dentistry, oral health, craniofacial sciences, or a related medical science.
- At least 2 years of equivalent experience in the evaluation, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, injuries, and disorders of the oral cavity and maxillofacial area.
