Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse General Worker to join our team at Kemps. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper code date rotation is being loaded and maintained
  • Complete all required documentation for on-time delivery of loads
  • Remove broken cases containing product and handle freight using proper equipment
  • Handle damaged product or items that need removal and replacement
  • Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and comply with state and federal health and safety regulations
  • Follow DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and corporate regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Production or general work experience preferred
  • Certification and/or Driver's License may be required during employment

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to work in -20 degree environment
  • Constant standing and handling
  • Frequent walking
