Job Description

As an Inpatient Therapist at Lifepoint Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients in group, individual, and family settings
  • Ensuring accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Actively communicating with clients, families, and outside referral sources while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that address patient goals and needs
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff, to ensure seamless patient care

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, or relevant licensure in the state of practice
  • Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
