**Job Description:**

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic Baan transactions, including clock in/clock out, labor reporting, and dispatch list.
  • Verify the operation as specified in the traveler, ensuring the proper material, thickness, process, and other relevant factors are used.
  • Understand layout and plan sequence of operations to ensure efficient production.
  • Set equipment controls and timers, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure quality parts.
  • Set up machinery and dies, and be familiar with machine operation and controls.
  • Use precision measuring tools in set-ups and quality assurance, and use necessary inspection media to ensure consistent quality.
  • Be familiar with customer specifications and have a familiarity with machine maintenance and upkeep.
  • Compose and/or edit operation sheets, and receive forklift training.
  • Observe all safety rules while performing tasks, and be familiar with all Lean Manufacturing principles and 6-S guidelines.
  • Cross-train in other facets of fabrication, and be responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must qualify for any and all required certificates.
  • 6 to 12 months' manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required.
  • Basic math skills required, including decimals, percentages, fractions, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Computer skills, including the ability to learn new screens, reports, functions, software programs, and internal ERP systems.
Working Conditions:
  • 100% manufacturing environment.
  • Regularly required to work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and airborne particles.
  • Noise level is usually loud.
