About the Job

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Senior Community Care of Michigan - PACE. As a CNA, you will provide and assist participants with activities of daily living and restorative/supportive care necessary to ensure the physical and health safety of the home environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist participants with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, and meal preparation
  • Provide restorative and supportive care to participants, including exercise and therapeutic diets
  • Monitor and report the health status of participants and provide a safe environment
  • Work collaboratively with the PCS Coordinator to update participant status and confirm scheduled visits
Requirements
  • Unencumbered Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Michigan
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and means of transportation
  • Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations
  • Minimum of one year's experience in working with the frail or elderly population
