Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and maintenance of our production equipment and systems.
  • Proactively maintain and repair all equipment, including water treatment and distribution systems, on-demand boiler functions, and compressed air systems.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records for all systems.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, and general equipment repair.
  • Responsible for completing Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Embody a culture of safety accountability and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related technical field experience and/or certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot/repair electrical circuits and controls.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous maintenance experience in a food manufacturing setting is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, production, packaging, and labeling equipment.
  • Ability to demonstrate high-level troubleshooting, comprehension, and operational experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), 5S, and Lean Manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge and skill of MIG, TIG, fabrication, joining, and repair of various metals, including stainless steel for food-grade applications.
  • Proficiency in smart manufacturing platforms and Microsoft Office software applications.
