Job Summary

The Dietary Assistant will assist our culinary team in preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring a high level of quality and service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs in food preparation tasks, as assigned
  • Complete dishwashing tasks and schedules for efficient dining service operations
  • Maintain standards for dining services, including efficient meal service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen
  • Ensure serving meals to residents within scheduled time frames
  • Report problems, concerns, and issues observed with food service and communicate them appropriately
  • Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them appropriately
  • Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules, including local and state requirements

Requirements

  • One to two years' experience in a similar position preferred
  • Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents
  • Appreciate the value of being a dependable and responsible member of our team
  • Be open-minded and willing to listen to and share new ideas
