About the Job

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio. As a per diem, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintaining the security of pharmacy and controlled substances
  • Entering orders and patient information with accuracy
  • Aiding in the training of new staff members
  • Providing updates to the Director on daily pharmacy activities
  • Supporting the Director in maintaining pharmacy operations
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Ohio
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written
