Position Overview

As an integral member of the Analytics team, you will provide data-driven insights that foster QuinStreet's Marketplace expansion. Your role will involve collecting, organizing, and synthesizing complex datasets and business rules to generate valuable insights in areas such as campaign structure, pricing strategies, budgeting, traffic distribution, quality control, and network dynamics. You will champion growth by leveraging these insights and collaborating closely with other teams to translate them into positive outcomes for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with media and client account managers to pinpoint opportunities for client optimization and market growth.
  • Extract and analyze data from our marketplace and client datasets to create business and predictive models utilizing various statistical methods.
  • Pursue actionable opportunities by engaging with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support continuous analysis and monitoring of essential business metrics.
  • Develop intricate and multi-layered forecasts in Excel and Tableau for strategic business planning.
  • Act as a vital link between business and technical teams in managing daily data analytics operations.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated academic excellence with a BS degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Math/Science, or a proven background in business/analytics; MS preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics/science.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on deriving actionable insights from data.
  • Deep interest in the online marketing and media sector; industry experience is advantageous.
  • High self-motivation with the ability to comprehend the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Willingness to initiate and manage research, exploration, and analysis for any business challenge from inception to completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain focus while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced internet company environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python scripting.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $80,000 USD to $130,000 USD annually. This range is an estimate, and actual compensation may vary based on the company's compensation policies and the applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible for performance bonuses or commissions and equity in the form of restricted stock units. Additionally, this role qualifies for the company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include healthcare benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and other tax-reportable benefits.
