Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including fluoroscopy and invasive procedures, utilizing proper technique and providing clear instructions to patients.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
  • Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
  • Interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to coordinate and prioritize procedures, maintaining a high level of patient care and continuity.
  • Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and adapt to changing patient needs.
  • Assist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards.
  • Accurately code and enter charges for procedures.
  • Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain adherence to CHRISTUS Health's Core values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
