About the Role:

Park State Bank is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Specialty Business Banking Associate. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients within the cannabis industry, managing client accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries and requests, serving as the primary point of contact for cannabis industry clients.
  • Account Management: Guide clients through the account opening process, explain account features, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to cannabis banking, including CIP procedures, KYC, AML regulations, and the BSA.
  • Risk Management: Manage regulatory license requirements through bank-defined operating systems, complete client site visits, and work with the BSA Analyst to address client risk and compliance issues.
  • Relationship Building & Cross-Selling: Foster strong relationships with cannabis industry clients, demonstrating empathy, integrity, and a commitment to their success.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Cannabis Related Business team, including the CRB Officer, Business Banking, Compliance department, and Operations.
  • Specialty Banking Education: Stay current on cannabis industry developments and banking regulations through ongoing education and training.
