About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Night Nurse to join our team at Friendship Village, a premier Life Plan Community in St. Louis. As a Part-Time Night Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents in a 24-hour operation, delegating and supervising the care provided by nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete documentation as required.
  • Provide nursing care to residents as assigned, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living, family/social activities, and promoting independent lifestyles.
  • Initiate individual plans of care based on health care goals, physician's orders, and nursing assessments.
  • Assist residents in and out of bed or wheelchair with proper transfer equipment, ensuring resident comfort and safety.
  • Record vital signs, nourishment logs, and other patient records as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and maintain continuous communication with physicians and D.O.N.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Nurse with a current State of Missouri license.
  • Strong positive attitude toward customer service and a genuine interest in geriatric care.
  • Ability to motivate and maintain relationships with staff and residents.
