We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Woodlands Specialty Hospital. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, operating radiologic equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to ensure optimal image quality.
- Perform related administrative duties, including completing necessary forms and maintaining procedure logs.
- Retrieve radiologic orders and input related data into the electronic medical record.
- Maintain adequate radiologic supplies and adhere to safety protocols.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures related to safety, emergency preparedness, infection control, OSHA, fire safety, and hazardous materials.
- ARRT Certification (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Experience in radiologic imaging or a related field.
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds. The employee must regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
