Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Training and Development: Engage in ongoing education and skill-building to enhance craft knowledge and performance.
  • Communicate Effectively: Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Distribution Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
  • Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision: Demonstrate independence and self-motivation to work with minimal guidance.
  • Basic Computer Operations and Email: Possess basic computer skills and the ability to use email effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid MD 4th or 5th Grade Stationary Engineers License: Hold a valid license to work in Maryland.
  • Pipefitting Experience: Possess a minimum of one year of experience in pipefitting.
  • Welding Experience: Have a minimum of one year of experience in welding.
  • Rigging Certification: Hold a minimum of one year of rigging certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Maneuvering: Ability to lift and maneuver up to and including 50 pounds.
  • Confined Spaces: Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Height Tolerance: Ability to climb and tolerate heights up to 100 feet.
  • Pre-Employment Screenings: Complete pre-employment screenings, including a company physical exam and respirator fit test, in addition to drug testing.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach.
  • Heat Tolerance: Ability to tolerate heat.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's vehicle insurance carrier.
