About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Eden Vista Rock Run. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Setting up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment;
  2. Preparing ingredients for use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.);
  3. Cooking food with various utensils or grillers;
  4. Checking food while cooking to ensure it is cooked to perfection;
  5. Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in the kitchen;
  6. Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly;
  7. Monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary;

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook;
  2. The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  3. Excellent communication and physical skills;
  4. A high school diploma or equivalent; A Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience

This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure.
