Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults with mental health challenges? Shodair's Helena Outpatient Clinic is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program, valid Advanced Practice RN/Nurse Practitioner license from the State of Montana, and current prescriptive authority. We prefer candidates with at least two years of psychiatric experience.

We offer a highly competitive salary package, including a salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, tuition assistance, and student loan repayment options.

About the Role

This Psychiatric APRN position involves working collaboratively with psychiatrists to provide comprehensive care for children and young adults. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychiatric assessments and recommending treatment interventions, including psychotropic medications.
  • Providing new evaluations and follow-up care to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
