Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Cutter to join our manufacturing team at CDR General Services LLC. As a vital part of our team, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge, manufacturing expertise, and basic math skills to operate CNC laser cutting equipment efficiently.

Your premium skills in CNC programming and CNC laser cutting will be instrumental in producing high-quality precision parts. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading, fabrication, and quality inspection will ensure accurate and consistent output.

Strong communication skills and proficiency in CAM programming will enable you to collaborate effectively with team members and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CO2 Laser system
  • Load programs and conduct focus tests for optimal performance
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning lenses and performing minor maintenance tasks
  • Be able to read and understand "G Code" and make minor adjustments to programs at the controller
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished parts
  • Cross train for other manufacturing roles
  • Experience with plasma tube cutting is a plus
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of laser operation experience
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CO2 Laser systems
  • Knowledge of gas mix, nozzle selection, and lens maintenance
  • Ability to read and understand "G Code" programming
  • MasterCAM software experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
