Service Writer Job Description

VIP Auto LLC is seeking a highly skilled Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to achieve sales and execution targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in the automotive service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • ASE Certification C1- Service Consultant required.
  • ASE Certification P2 - Parts Specialist recommended.
  • ASE Certification G1 - Maintenance and light repair recommended.
Working Conditions:

The Service Writer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional service. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Service Writer will be required to wear protective eyewear and follow all safety protocols when working in the service area.

The physical demands of the role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. The Service Writer will also be required to sit for extended periods and use a computer.

The Service Writer will be expected to work a standard 5-day workweek, with occasional overtime as required.
