As a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist, you will provide medical care to patients under the direction of a supervising hospitalist. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing medical care plans, implementing and managing treatment plans, and providing patient education and counseling. You will work autonomously and collaboratively with a variety of individuals to provide a continuum of health care needs. You will report to the St. Vincent hospitalist medical director and adhere to patient confidentiality, infection prevention, safety and security measures, and all other hospital policies and procedures. You will model St. Vincent core values and work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. Qualifications include previous experience as a hospital-based nurse practitioner or physician assistant, current Nurse Practitioner Licensure in Arkansas, a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician, and a DEA certificate. ACLS or ACLS instructor certification is required upon hire.
