Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique.
  • Prepare examination areas, position patients for procedures, and operate complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines.
  • Pass materials, take exposures as directed, and assist physicians as necessary.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in IR or Cath Lab.
  • BLS and AART certifications.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including call requirements during the work week, weekends, and holidays.
