Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IPSC Supervisor to join our team. As an IPSC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of two or more IPSCs or one large IPSC, ensuring that all activities are performed and managed in accordance with customer requirements and company programs, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Manage all activities associated with assigned operations, including developing performance metrics, evaluating performance, and reporting to management.
- Communication and Leadership: Ensure that production, quality, and safety goals are communicated to employees, and that they understand their roles in meeting or exceeding those goals.
- Counseling and Coaching: Provide effective counsel, especially where corrective actions are needed, and coach employees to improve technical skills and interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
- Inventory and Asset Management: Proactively manage assigned inventory and asset availability to satisfy customer needs and demands.
- Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management: Proactively manage quality, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Company standards.
- Customer Service and Support: Work with Sales, Customer Service, and other internal departments to communicate and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely documentation, including billing, compliance, customer communication, and satisfaction reports.
- Human Resources and Training: Partner with human resources for hiring and firing, performance evaluation, salary, and job change actions, and develop departmental training priorities and related budgets.
- Experience: Five (5) years of progressive experience in petrochemical and/or refinery operations or industrial safety equipment industry.
- Managerial Experience: Two (2) years of managerial experience.
- Skills: Experience in Fire Protection Services, Respiratory Protection, and Gas Detection is preferred.
The IPSC Supervisor will work in a combination of office and field/production environments, with some exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, outside and extreme weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and high elevations. Travel to and from customer sites is required.
