Job Overview

Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. is a leading private Rheumatology practice in the United States, recognized for excellence in medicine and innovative treatments. We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team of providers, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients with rheumatologic conditions.

The Attending Physician will work closely with our Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and clinical/administrative teams to assess and treat patients with rheumatologic conditions. Our clinical offices offer advanced diagnostic tools, including digital x-ray, in-house laboratories, and IV infusion suites.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and treating rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and systemic lupus.
  • Ordering diagnostic imaging to identify signs of systemic or autoimmune disorders.
  • Monitoring the progress of existing rheumatic disorders.
  • Prescribing medications to improve symptoms or slow the progression of the disorder.
  • Performing physical assessments to better understand symptoms.
  • Educating patients on autoimmune disorders and discussing treatment plans.
  • Designing tailored treatment plans.
  • Assessing joint-related conditions.
  • Evaluating lab results and other advanced tests.
  • Providing recommendations for treatments.

Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathize and listen respectfully.

Sound medical knowledge and a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Desirable: Experience in Rheumatology and effective EHR skills.
