Job Description
We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment they arrive. As a key representative of our hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest feels welcome and supported throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to high standards of appearance and functionality.
- Process transactions accurately and securely, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism.
- Upsell services and amenities to enhance the guest experience, promoting loyalty and retention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Front Desk Agent, you should possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
- The capacity to lift moderate weights, up to 50 pounds, and maintain a physically demanding pace during peak hours.
- An accounting background is advantageous but not essential.
