Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at DHR Health in Edinburg, TX. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures in a timely manner, working collaboratively with other members of the Radiology team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures according to physician's orders and procedure protocols.
  • Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures.
  • Responsible for the care and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area.
  • Accurately comprehend and interpret verbal orders and directions.
  • Assume responsibility for the collection and processing of patient specimens.
  • Complete accurate documentation on patient records according to policy.
  • Ensure exams are verified and completed for charging on PACS/RIS systems.
  • Responsible for training CT technologists with the appropriate procedure protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program required.
  • Current state certification (TMB) required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) general certification required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in CT.
  • Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Working Conditions

This position requires working with frequent interruptions and the ability to project a professional image. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high degree of competency and experience with CT procedures.
