**Job Title:** Critical Care Specialist

At CHI St Vincent Infirmary, we are seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team. As a Mechanical Circulatory Support Nurse, you will play a vital role in monitoring and caring for patients who require critical care.

**Job Description:

Our Critical Care Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the CVICU setting. This includes monitoring pump functioning, performing safety checks on MCS devices, and maintaining pump integrity.

**Responsibilities:

  • Cares for and assists in the patient and MCS device in which the patient is currently on.
  • Performs safety checks on MCS devices and understands the appropriate steps when an unexpected or emergency situation occurs.
  • Monitors pump functioning throughout patient therapy and maintains pump integrity.

**Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced RN with at least 1 year of experience in a CVICU/MCS setting. The ideal candidate will have active RN licensure in Arkansas, proficiency in ECMO, LVAD, impella, CRRT, IABP, swan ganz, and recovery of open heart surgery, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
