Job Summary:

Virtually Helpful LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle, navigating assigned delivery routes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physically load and verify the condition of the company truck, manifest, and other paperwork associated with deliveries.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle in a courteous and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic safety regulations.
  • Drive to delivery destinations, confirm orders with customers, unload and verify products, obtain confirmation signatures and payment.
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for returned products.
  • Pick up buyout purchase orders from vendors and deliver parts to the branch or customer.
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Work to prevent shortages and damage to products.
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically load/unload truck with customer orders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Capacity to maintain composure and politeness under difficult circumstances.
  • Aptitude to be available and adjust working hours according to demands.
  • DOT card or willingness to obtain one.

Compensation and Benefits:

Virtually Helpful LLC offers a competitive hourly rate of $17-$18, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including 10 days of paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, 6 paid holidays, a generous matching 401K plan, and supplemental insurance.
