Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation / Controls Technician to enhance our operations. This position involves the installation, programming, and servicing of digital control systems, ensuring quality, profitability, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install comprehensive building automation systems (BAS).
  • Conduct startup, testing, commissioning, and servicing of control projects.
  • Provide training to clients on control systems as required.
  • Modify existing programs and troubleshoot to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Verify correct operation of systems and control sequences.
  • Review, adjust, and implement programming changes to ensure efficient system operations and compliance with standards.
  • Calibrate, repair, and replace sensing devices in building automation systems as per specifications.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation (BAS/BMS) or HVAC controls.
  • Willingness to work on-site at client locations approximately 80% of the time.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara.
  • Familiarity with Alerton, Honeywell, or Distech systems.
