Job Overview

Salary:
1st Shift (Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm)
2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm)
3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am)
Hourly base rate, with an additional $3 shift differential for off-shift work.

At Abrasive Technology, we utilize specialized chemical furnace plating and electroplating techniques to manufacture precision polishing tools for glass ceramics and metals. Our production teams include Maskers, Electroplaters, and Furnace Platers across various sectors such as Industrial/Flexibles, Medical/Dental, and Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute multiple tasks while ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Exhibit initiative and a strong drive for achieving results.
  • Assess and prioritize tasks based on their significance.
  • Understand and adhere to established procedures.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and practices.
  • Be available for overtime, sometimes with little notice.
  • Operate an overhead crane as needed.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided, although experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team morale.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods throughout the day.
  • Willingness to adhere to company PPE standards when handling chemicals.
