Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Director, Quality Management to lead our quality management initiatives. This role will be responsible for maintaining responsibility for quality management initiatives, providing overall direction, development, implementation, and integration of the quality management program, and supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the quality plan and patient safety for the organization.
  • Direct efforts to ensure quality, patient safety, and performance improvement implementation across the system.
  • Support organization in developing and building meaningful reports for the quality subcommittee of the board and other leadership committees.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to develop and maintain quality metrics services for our sites that meets required reporting such as Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQM) and more.
  • Evaluate various attributes of health care, such as safety, cost, place, accessibility, treatment, and benefits as compared with standard results, for the purpose of making recommendations for improvement using standardized Performance Improvement (PI) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree: Preferred
  • Ten years' technical experience: Preferred
  • Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
  • Ten years' healthcare system level quality leadership; Project management/lean or sigma training; Experience building or leading a High Reliability Organization (HRO): Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Preferred
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Patient Safety Certification: Preferred
