Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides, to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Assist with daily needs, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Support patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Monitor patient vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes.
  • Observe patient conditions and notify supervisors of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in California.
  • Minimum 40 hours of CNA experience in a medical facility.
  • CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
