About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Stability Direct. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in preparing patients for imaging of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various nuclear medicine equipment to produce diagnostic results and measure therapeutic radioactive materials in specific body areas.
  • Perform all nuclear medicine scanning procedures as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manual.
  • Monitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damage.
  • Maintain and document all records as required by the NRC and DEP.
  • Prepare radioactive doses and materials for daily patient administration.
  • Maintain quality control procedures on all equipment.
  • Assist physicians in performing procedures and computer enhancing of images.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program.
  • Training and experience in radiation safety and protection.
  • NJDEP license - nuclear medicine technology upon hire.
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire or NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech upon hire.
