Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of RN Supervisor at the Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a key member of our healthcare team, the RN Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical activities of our healthcare personnel, including LPNs and CNAs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing staff, housekeeping, and security teams.
  • Complete admissions assessments and reassessments on all patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Work closely with medical support staff to ensure resident needs are met, and provide education as indicated after assessing the learning needs of patients and staff members.
  • Maintain medical supplies and equipment, and ensure that personnel adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in care planning meetings, and provide input into actions necessary to resolve problems.
  • Mentor and supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • 3 Years RN experience preferred.
  • Current BLS Certificate.
